SALT LAKE CITY — Singer Billy Joel canceled all of his scheduled concerts on Friday following a brain disorder diagnosis. The cancellation includes Joel’s Utah concert with Sting, which was pushed to 2026 due to health concerns.
Joel’s team made the announcement Friday morning on social media, saying he had been diagnosed with a brain disorder called normal pressure hydrocephalus.
“This condition has been exacerbated by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance,” the post said.
Joel’s team said the singer was receiving treatment and is committed to “prioritizing his health.”

“I’m sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience, and thank you for understanding,” Joel wrote.
Fans who purchased tickets will be automatically refunded, according to the announcement.
